Three Rivers Diagnostics is seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and self-driven Full Time Territory Sales Manager to generate leads, implement new business, close deals, retain and grow existing customers, and drive laboratory services sales across the territory.
Primary Purpose
The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for profitable revenue generation, territory growth and ongoing account management of laboratory services. Laboratory services include clinical toxicology, PCR testing, diagnostic testing, and genetic testing.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Achieve territory volume objectives through prospecting, networking, and other lead generating activities and tools.
· Drive sales by researching of potential clients, pre-call planning, post-call analysis and follow-up.
· Field travel within an assigned sales territory to build and maintain stronger relationships, develop sales/service acumen, and close select leads.
· Educate, instruct, and upsell all assigned and newly generated accounts on all products and services in an assigned sales territory.
· Prospect and analyze targeted accounts and develop recommendations to acquire their business through information collection, marketing initiatives, sales call cycle, etc.
· Develop and execute action plans and strategies to analyze the utilization and profitability of new and existing accounts drive sales and increase returns.
· Manage account inquiries in a manner to minimize account attrition and negative volume variance.
· Demonstrate effective communication, negotiation, and customer service skills to new and existing clients to continually meet or exceed sales goals in a fast paced, competitive market.
· Act as a liaison between the client and the lab team to provide ongoing service and timely resolution to customer needs.
· Maintain knowledge of all products, services, and solutions to enhance companies market position.
· Research competitors' products and pricing as well as market conditions.
· Collaborate with all departments to expand brand presence through the creation of suitable marketing materials, product inventory, and services available.
· Maintain accurate record of all leads, customer accounts, and sales informing potential and existing customers of product features and benefits.
· Ensure total compliance with all company policies and government regulations.
Experience
· Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or related field is preferred.
· Proven 1 year experience outside sales experience in medical laboratory or healthcare industry.
· Existing laboratory business and clients are a plus.
· Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
· Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
· Must be detail-oriented with superior customer service and communication skills with the ability to develop trust-based relationships.
· Strong consultative, organizational, time-management, and negotiation skills.
· Ability to maintain compliance with regulatory agencies and in accordance with safety guidelines.
· Must have a valid driver's license, insurance, clean driving record, and trustworthy vehicle.
· Ability to drive within territory 100% of time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
