Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Conduct commercial analysis and projects
  • Maintain and update Smart Sheets and databases as required
  • Prepare reports including charts and graphs, for presentations and monthly reports to
  • Provide general office administration
  • Support the day to day needs and requests from field sales personnel, including customer support, sample request fulfilment, broker liaison and lead follow-up
  • Organize and coordinate internal and external meetings, sales events and Fermentis Academy as directed
  • Manage sales activities and events for the sales team that includes tradeshows and event organization, marketing material organization and distribution as needed to the sales group
  • Help support the Fermentis with the implementation and coordination of Smart Sheets
  • Represent the Company in a professional manner

Individual will interact with international colleagues regularly to ensure commercial support is provided to the market.

Travel: Estimated 20%. Primarily in the U.S, with some international travel to France and Latin America.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least 4 years’ experience in a similar administrative, business or customer service role.

Language Skills

Must be bilingual English/Spanish. The ability to understand French would be beneficial. Has the ability to read and interpret instruction and procedure manuals. Has the ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Has the ability to speak effectively with customers or employees.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Has the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be advanced in Excel and proficient in Word, Power point, Outlook and Teams. Having a basic knowledge and understanding of an ERP operating system (preferably Oracle) is preferred.
