Job Title: Project Manager Hours/Week: 40+

Department: Project Engineering Reports to: General Manager

FLSA: Exempt

Summary The Project Manager’s responsibilities include planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. (S)He plans and designates project resources, prepares budgets, monitors progress, and keeps stakeholders informed the entire way. The candidate will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline. Supervisory Responsibilities

Essential Functions

• Coordinate internal resources and vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Develop project scopes and objectives, involve all relevant stakeholders and ensure technical feasibility
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Interact with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and representing them in the field
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with project participants to provide assistance and technical support
• Investigates complaints and communicates to the customer, as needed.
• Other duties as assigned

Nonessential Functions

• Knowledge of the German Language
• Knowledge of Uhlmann Machines

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• CAD experience, with knowledge of SolidWorks preferred
• Knowledge of SAP
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong organizational competence with attention to detail
• Excellent time-management and project management skills
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and management
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of the position
• Ability to have a strong sense of urgency

Education, Experience, & Special Requirements
Education: BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Licensing and/or Certifications: PMP desirable but not necessary

Experience: Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in Mechanical Design and 2 years of Project Management

Special Requirements: Strong computer skills with extensive CAD experience and strong organizational competence with attention to detail

Pay: $82,000.00 - $98,000.00 per year
