Japanese semiconductor company is seeking an Inside Sales.
Job Summary
: VMI distributor purchasing parts from suppliers, carrying inventory & ship it to customers.
: Semiconductor products for automotive T1/T2customers.
: Responsible about 5 key customers with 5 suppliers, about 20-50 line items/parts number each
customer.)
Job Description
(Supply chain management #1)
Processing quote, customer long-term forecast/orders (S/O), and book orders to supplier (P/O)
based on supplier lead time. Order trucking, expedite, pull-in/push-out, cancelling P/O, invoicing,
credit issues, RMA and problem resolution depends on customer requirements. Analyze schedules
to update customers as to the status of their orders. Accounting process includes invoicing, credit
and debit must be managed accurate.

Ability to manage & create accurate spread sheet with customer forecast/orders, supplier
forecast/orders, caring inventory plan. Review, analyze and manage based on products life cycle,
customer actual production plan, market information, maintain supply chain if necessary.
(Supply chain management #3)
Ability to manage a credit between customer and supplier. That includes Invoicing, RMA, Inventory
cost, Inventory write-up/down or Ship & Debit.
(Line down management)
Ability to negotiate to secure minimum supply qty when in a line down situation.
Ability to gather customer production information includes inventory, minimum production usage
and their finished goods
(Account set up)
Set up new accounts and coordinate all required credit applications for internal set up and external
set up (customer and supplier).
(IT Communication)
Ability to manage accurate supply chain process with MRP, ERP, web portal, EDI and email.
(Team organization/communication)
Ability to understand manager’s request accurately.
Ability to perform accurate communication, response and report for action items, data input, daily
activity, goal, issue, solution in timely manner.
Ability to understand essential point of goal, matter, issue, conversation or business picture overall.
Responsible to coordinate a backup team/person during absence.
(Suppler/ Customer communication)
Ability to monitors and accurate controls response to customer requirements in timely to order
fulfillment, expedite, changing, cancelling, pushing out existing orders or all other business
requirements.
(RFQ/ Pricing negotiation)
Ability to process RFQ and negotiate cost and resale internally/externally, parts number set up or
account sent up.. Understand and can explain gross profitability to negotiate pricing with customers
and suppliers when new design biting process and cost reduction process. This include to create
an accurate/organized spread sheet to show customer name, parts number, current
cost/resale/GP%, proposed future cost down stricture and cost down% against current pricing.
(Quality operation)
Manage PCN from a supplier and communicate with a customer as a window person.
Ability to coordinates Pre-PCN/Post-PCN supply chain management include IPP tag operation
Job requirements
: Understand & ability to manage long-term monthly supply chain/pipeline between suppliers &
customers.: Operate VMI though MRP system accurately.
: Ability to cross check a pricing, p/n, quantity or other T&Cs to avoid system entry error.
: 5 yrs+ Inside Sales experience or equivalent.
Required Skill
: Understand and can perform manager’s job request accurately.
: When a mistake was made, can accept it professionally, can listen & understand advice
professionally, can review why mistake was made, can learn from a mistake and can perform
corrective action. (This is very important)
: Excellent communication skills both oral and written (English required)
: Accurate use of excels spread sheet (formula, format, data input), word, outlook (scheduler,
meeting request, rules) and PDF.
: Understand a distributor’s business position between suppliers and customers.
: ERP/EDI excellence (Oracle, SAP, AS400 or QuickBooks)
: High level of Excel spread sheet (formula, format, pivot table required), Word, Outlook and
PowerPoint.
: Professional report (summarize points with short sentence verbally and in writing)
: Manage all action items, time lines and report to manager.
: Manage internal/external business pressure to achieve company goal
: Good problem solving and interpersonal skills.
Other
: Overtime depends on customer/supplier needs.
: Japanese communication skill plus
: Working in semiconductor industry is plus.
: Understand semiconductor demand/supply cycle means allocation.
: Sales office in Schaumburg, IL. Office work from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
