If you are looking for a sales career whil working in an office enviroment, The Ickes Agency’s Associate Sales agent is the position built for you. This is a sales position where you use your knowledge and skills to attract and generate new customers. All associates must reside within the state of Ohio. As an Insurance Associate Agent with the Ickes Agency you will help us bring our products and services to the customer – whether virtually or in-person meeting them where they are most comfortable to capitalize on the in-person sales experience. you will sell automotive, property, casualty, and other types of insurance policies.

This position offers a competitive base Salary + Commissions + Bonuses. Average agents earn around $50-70,000 per year. Our top Agents make even more!

Job Responsibilities

• Partner with Agency Sales Leaders & Managers in developing your plan to sell new policies
• Establish a target customer base by using best practices in sales and customer relationship-building
• Utilize your community connections to generate sales and develop a network of referrals – must be comfortable being actively involved in your community and reaching out to your natural market as well as bringing in new customers
• Regularly meet with potential and current customers in your community
• Plan, implement and manage processes to achieve customer satisfaction, sales growth goals, and targets
• Proactively communicate with customers to confirm their insurance needs are being met

Job Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Very friendly and conversational and have experience working with customers via phone.
• You are actively involved in your community and comfortable reaching out to your natural market
• You have outside sales experience
• You enjoy and thrive in a salary + commission selling environment

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance Licensing in state of Ohio is required to perform the duties of this job.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
