Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Greensboro, North Carolina Battery Plant Services Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Business Planning Manager.
The primary responsibility of this role is to collaborate with the TBMNC Executive Team to develop plant wide strategy and to set the decision framework to bring that strategy to reality.
Reporting to the General Manager, Plant Services, the person in this role will support the leadership team’s objective to set the North Star for Toyota Battery Manufacturing as the first plant of its kind in Toyota.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading TBMNC business objectives (business planning, hoshin) process for the President and Executive Team.
- Managing Secretariat responsibilities for the Executive Committee, developing the agenda, issuing minutes, and assuring follow up on results.
- Managing special projects with the leadership team coordinating cross functional, cross NAMC and working with TMNA members.
- Supporting complex administrative matters with the President of TBMNC and the leadership team (external presentations, talent development, VIP visits, etc.)
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or engineering preferred or equivalent work experience
- Experience in automotive industry, consulting or other large-scale industries
- Experience working collaboratively across core company departments (sales, manufacturing, R&D)
- Excel Intermediate and Power BI proficiency
- Demonstrated skills to constructively communicate with and challenge company top management levels
- Strong project management/ milestone management capability
- Ability and willingness to travel- some travel to Japan required.
