Description

Provide direct interface between customers, markets and industries with Nachi America Inc. for demographics, service and technical support.

• Develop positive relationship with customers
• Identify new customers
• Identify new markets
• Promote Nachi products
• Provide technical support to customers
• Trouble shoot problems at customer facilities
• Manage assigned areas, regions or locations
• Identify early, new customer programs and work for the development stages
• Achieve sales plan by product
• Operate in the most cost effective manner

Requirements

A.S in ME, MET or field related (preferred, but will consider no degree if experienced)

2+ years' experience in cutting tool engineering and sales.

Preferably located in Central Indiana or Illinois to attend the office regularly when not traveling.

• Create visitation plan to support customers regularly and make necessary visits.
• Background in Cutting tools.
• Being able to recommend tooling per customers supplied part prints.
• Knowing what tool geometry to use for certain materials.
• Hands on trouble shooting experience.
• Must be comfortable interacting and presenting product and product training.
• Investigate using available resources, web, phone, industry directories, etc. to identify potential customers or markets. · Complete specification sheets required for quote generation
• Develop annual forecasts for assigned areas and update monthly Input and manage customers in ACT database
• Maintain visit log information in ACT database.
• Review and work with customers on late accounts receivable
• Report on competitor information
• Complete timely expense reports
• Update quote log information in a timely manner
• Participate in industry organization and functions

PROGRAMING

Being able to read and understand G-Code

Ability to determine what the program is doing without watching it run.

Must be Proficient in:

Microsoft Office Suite

CAD (AutoCAD)

Not required to be proficient but some knowledge in Solidworks and CAM (SurfCAM, EdgeCAM)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $64,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
