About us

Duraline is a progressive, stable manufacturer of safety engineered electrical distribution and temporary lighting systems to the US Navy, commercial shipbuilding, mining, petrochemical, medical, entertainment, transportation, and telecommunications industries who is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist that is results driven.
*SUMMARY* Responsible for support of the outside sales team and web order customers. Will be responsible for quotes, order entry, vendor selection, parts identification/pricing and sourcing. *JOB RESPONSIBILITIES* · Responsible for interacting with customers and vendors in a fast-paced environment, penetrating assigned accounts and building relationships. · Receive and process order requests from customer and/or sales team via email, fax, phone. Web, EDI and other electronic file transfer methods. · Communicate with plant and purchase supervisors to ensure needed supplies and hardware is available (in-house) or when they can be procured. Process orders and respond to inquires in accordance with established procedures in a timely/efficient manner. · Enter data into our company’s ERP system and other databases to reflect updates on all purchase orders. · Communicate with customers concerning their needs to include orders, returns, products, shipment information, etc. Initiates and follows up on appropriate actions based on needs. *QUALIFICATIONS* · 2 years’ experience desired in supporting a technical sales organization. Knowledge of electrical parts is a plus. · Understanding of quotes, order processing, purchase orders and sourcing · Outstanding commitment to customer service, time management, people skills. · Strong organization and follow up skills · Ability to enter data efficiently and accurately in an ERP and/or Inventory System and databases. Knowledgeable of MS Office programs · Ability to work in an environment that requires fast, accurate response to outside sales team, managers and customer direct.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,181.00 - $42,639.00 per year
