Inside Sales Representative

This position is responsible for providing guest services, generating sales, merchandising, point of sale operations, receiving and inventory control for a busy retail lumber yard.

This position could be FULL-TIME or PART-TIME

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Assists in developing and increasing sales revenues
2. Maintain an awareness of product information and merchandise promotions
3. Prepares quotes for potential customers.
4. Maintains all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations.
5. Total operational use of software/hardware for the purpose of point of sale, order entry and maintenance, inventory control and the ability to learn and utilize updates and modifications to the system.
6. Working knowledge of store and company procedures relating to stock, sales, returns, delivery, invoicing, special orders, receiving, transfer that enable proper coordination of the store services to customer.
7. Ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every guest and maintaining outstanding standards.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or GED. Minimum of 2 years customer service/sales experience required; construction and lumber experience strongly desired. Good written, communication and math skills required. Strong organizational skills. Strong interpersonal skills required. Proven computer knowledge and experience required
