BASIC FUNCTION:Inside Sales Associate is to provide direct support to the Regional Sales Manager. Key responsibilities include following up with customer quotes, order entry, as well as order deliveries. Additional functions are the following:

• Support the Regional Sales Manager’s efforts to sell and quote product to end customers.
• Complete and maintain accurate sales forecasts, data gathering and reports for Regional Sales.
• Perform reporting functions on an ongoing and timely basis including monthly bookings and sales.
• Provide info to outside sales and CEO.
• Conduct on going customer needs; maintaining and developing strong relationships with customer via telephone calls, emails, etc.
• Assess the needs of potential customers with engineering assistance (engineering on property).
• Develop quotations; assist customer with explanation on delivery terms as well as net terms where needed.
• Liaison between customer and production line regarding deliveries of product; must alert customers to any changes or delays.
• Update customer contact info on software program. Keep all software current with opportunities and forecast and quoting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sales administration duties must be performed accurately and on time
• Collecting and reporting post sales customer information and issues
• Assisting Regional Sales Managers on an as needed basis

AUTHORITIES:

• Exercise the responsibilities and performs the duties for this position.
• Provide recommendation regarding the improvement of customer sales, retention tools, and procedures.
• Request assistance from the Regional Sales Manager for any info to assist customer and/or factory on delivery issues.
• Inside Sales reports to the Regional Sales Manager and CE

QUALIFICATIONS:

• One year sales experience or some level of customer services experience
• Must be customer oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must work with minimal supervision
• BS/BA in Business preferred, but not required
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Positive attitude and flexibility is a must!
• Working hours starting at 8:00 am M-F
• Some Quick Books knowledge helpful
