Position Summary:
Alter Management, LLC is currently seeking a full-time Outreach Specialist. Alter Management is a behavioral health organization committed to innovation and science in the area of mental health and substance use disorder treatment. Alter Management has recently developed a remote services platform that provides care for people whose mental health has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic through a virtual platform and by phone. The BeWellLine Outreach Specialist is responsible for establishing connections between employer groups, community organizations, and the BeWellLine crisis contact center. Alter Management has recently developed a remote services platform that provides care for people whose emotional support and mental health has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic through a virtual platform and by phone. This position will research, coordinate and conduct group education/outreach and special events; research social media outreach opportunities to maintain a social media presence.
Duties:

- Demonstrate the culture of Alter Management by modeling behavior that supports the BeWellLine goals and philosophies.
- Establish and maintain critical relationships with channel partners in the market.
- Conducts outreach and wellness promotion activities, workshops/groups and/or events.
- Deliver group presentations educating individuals in crisis and the community about mental health, suicide, depression and other sensitive subject matters.
- Researches and conducts all community outreach partnership, events and BeWellLine growth.
- Utilizes BeWellLine Outreach Phone Team when needed.
- Identify available resources and partnership opportunities that will support all the efforts of the BeWellLine program.
- Collaborate with the Program Coordinator and HR Accounting Representative on recruitment strategies and efforts.
- Research and conduct social media outreach opportunities and work with BeWellLine Crisis Support Counselors to maintain a social media presence.
- Assist with BeWellLine training and education.
- Attend monthly meetings and in-service for BeWellLine.
- Performs other duties, such as call center and chat platform maintenance, and administrative and organizational tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Social Work, Counseling, Teaching, Education)
- Crisis Intervention Training
- Certified Peer Support Specialist
- Proficient with database and G Suite computer environment
- At least two years of experience working with individuals suffering from crisis and ability to establish rapport, supervisor, coach and mentor
- Excellent communication and community engagement skills
- Proficiency in social media
- Ability to handle stress
