Agilix Solutions currently has an opening for Inside Sales at our Lenexa, KS location. This position is a full time Inside Selling role that is responsible for sales growth with light customer facing touches leveraging a well-defined strategic plan with outbound tactical communication execution.

This role will report to the Vice President of Western Region.

Responsibilities:

  • Creation and execution of effective business and account plans for “Light Touch” customers focusing on activities and promotions identified in the Commercial Plan and the AD FMS
  • Daily outbound activity via phone, email, text, video conferencing or other methods to reach these customers with a targeted message promoting specific products or capabilities
  • Effective training and guidance for the sale of supported products for the CSR team. Act as a technical resource for supporting day to day activities that are beyond the abilities of the CSR team.
  • Inside Sellers will be responsible for Lead Follow Up on any unassigned leads generated via social media, web, or traditional marketing methods
  • Team with Outside Sales to identify the target customer base, establish relationships, and have the ability to cultivate opportunities
  • Focus on OEM specification and acceptance of core automation lines and components
  • Coordination with product vendors for targeted customer conversions
  • Utilize and maintain company CRM (customer relationship management) tool for all activity.
  • Ability and desire to market and profitably sell all product lines available to Agilix

Required Qualifications:

  • Experienced Tele-Selling background with passion for solving of customer applications and issues
  • Ability to develop a strategic plan with tactical activities and targets based on Analytics
  • Ability to administer and implement marketing, promotional programs, and product launches
  • Ability to work as a team member executing as part of an overall company strategy for reaching new and existing customers and creating demand for targeted products and services
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly articulate highly technical products and services in a remote environment
  • Strong presentation skills in group and individual situations
  • Computer skills (i.e. Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, PDF, PowerPoint)
  • Creative thinker with the ability to create original concepts to train, service, and sell to internal and external customers
  • Understanding of data and how it can be used to analyze business opportunities
  • Collaborative cross functional team skills to work with Marketing, Outside Account Managers, CSR Team, and Operations
  • 5 years of industry experience, electrical distribution experience considered a plus.
  • Familiarization with Automation Products, Industrial Supply Products, and Sensor Applications
