Inside Sales Associate

General Description:

This is an individual contributor position in an enjoyable and pleasant environment that is responsible for contributing to the customer experience. You will interface with internal and external customers for the manufacturing of assemblies, gathering and organization of data used in analysis for strategic planning, and other duties as required.

How you will spend your time:

Process and organize customer quotations and inquiries in a timely manner and according to department procedure.

Process and enter customer orders accurately and in a timely manner. Stock items should be entered the same day, not to exceed 24 hours from time of order. Production item orders should also be entered within 24 hours, although production orders may require pre-order evaluation according to department procedure.

Maintain control and organization of quote and order status from beginning (quote / order) of process until the end (deliver of product). This includes but not limited to related submittals, special price requests, expedites, inquiries, credit holds, orders pending clarification and other issues which may delay quotes / orders.

Process credits and RMA’s accurately and in a timely manner, according to department procedure.

Identify, communicate, and support resolution of problem areas regarding data entry, system error, customer-service issues, or other areas that may negatively impact the overall customer service process.

Ensure high-level of accessibility to customers, including the handling and processing of a large volume of phone calls or e-mails in a timely and efficient manner.

Maintain customer files and data including pricing, contracts, profiles, and open / closed customer orders and requests.

Actively acquire and maintain product and system knowledge and updates.

Maintain a clean and safe work area.

**This position requires regular on-time attendance as outlined by Human Resources or your supervisor(s). This position requires the ability to work independently or in a team setting.

We’re excited if you have:

• A Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently with computer programs (Excel, JobBoss ERP and PowerPoint).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to constructively address and diffuse customer issues in a timely manner.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data from a wide variety of sources.
• Some electronic manufacturing experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 - $17.00 per hour
