We are seeking an Insurance Agent (Sales) / Customer Service Representative to join our team! Our Insurance Agency has been a leading provider of life, health and property and casualty insurance for over 30 years. We offer an integrated suite of insurance solutions for any of our client’s insurance needs, from personal lines to commercial lines of business. This position offers many avenues of growth opportunities and can be an excellent launching platform for a promising career. The successful candidate will work in a fast paced and customer service oriented environment. Important traits to possess are the ability to multi-task, strong attention to detail, problem solving skills, ability to be proactive, and a results driven attitude.

Success in this role is based on your motivation with a hunger to win. We offer an hourly wage PLUS commission, bonuses, and benefits. Salary range from $40K to $125K with uncapped earning potential.

$500 signing bonus after 90 days with an additional $250 if candidate possesses license and prior P&C Insurance experience (including Farmers, State Farm, Allstate or other).

Responsibilities:

• Develop new business opportunities by following up on sales leads generated from the agency, referrals, networking, marketing, and lead databases
• Develop insurance quotes, make insurance sales presentations, and close sales
• Proactive customer service and retention
• Expand business reach through networking and marketing techniques
• Comply with insurance standards and regulations
• Track and identify areas of opportunity
• Ability to utilize quoting system and marketing database

Qualifications: * Previous experience in insurance, customer service, strongly preferred however we will also train.

• CA Life and Health or Property and Casualty license a plus
• Additional license if needed, to be obtained within 45 days
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Bi-lingual Chinese Mandarin a plus
• High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
