A fast-paced insurance agency in Victoria, TX is seeking a new Associate Agent to join our Licensed Sales Team. This is a full-time position. The successful applicant would have an active General Lines P&C License but proficient sales experience and willingness to get licensed immediately will also qualify the applicant. Life/Health License is a plus.

The ideal candidate should be ethical, organized, self-starting, detail-oriented, and have a very personable demeanor while on the phone. This person will have proficient typing skills in both speed and accuracy. The successful candidate will have superb communication skills and be able to multitask without sacrificing quality.

Dependability and reliability are essential.

The candidate must pass a background check.

As an Agency Producer, you will support the sales, cross-sell, customer retention, and customer service goals of the Insurance Agency. You will do so by calling on prospective clients and generating new sales leads while also developing a deeper relationship with existing customer accounts. Leads will be provided to you, but you will also work to generate warmer sales leads through your own personal networking and prospecting. Must be comfortable with cold-calling prospects daily. You will also complete endorsements on existing policies, educate customers on coverages, and learn/implement agency marketing systems.

Typical hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

This position offers a competitive hourly wage + bonuses and paid time off.
