The North Florida Council is hiring a full-time Non-Profit Territory Manager to oversee Scouting operations in the fast-growing Metro Jacksonville area.
We are looking for a self-starting, motivated person who excels at building relationships and enjoys sales and marketing. This is an exciting career opportunity that is challenging and demands growth in the areas of fundraising, membership development, and volunteer recruitment.
Territory managers are a diverse group, sharing a dynamic career offering independence, achievement, and stability. This role requires the ability to work varied hours when necessary, including evening activities and weekend work to achieve objectives. Starting Pay and Benefits
Territory Managers start at $45,000 plus bonus opportunities. Other benefits include mileage and cell phone reimbursement, major medical and prescription coverage, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability, accidental death, and retirement plan. We also offer 24 days of paid time off in addition to 10 holiday observances. Annual increase in salary is determined by an individual’s overall performance.
Training
Comprehensive professional training opportunities are provided during the first three years of tenure. Annual training and development opportunities continue throughout your career.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- United States citizenship or declared intention to become a U.S. citizen
- Live and work in the Metropolitan Jacksonville area
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve territory goals
- People-oriented, having the ability to work well with adult volunteers, community and business leaders, and representatives of other organizations
- Able to work varied hours when necessary to achieve positive objectives
- Non-profit, fundraising, sales or marketing experience is a plus
