PURPOSE:
The Sr. Sales Executive’s primary function is to establish contact and develop
relationships with prospects. Maintain relationships with clients by providing support,
information, and guidance on new technologies and solutions. Develop profitable and
sustaining business relationships within the national design/build arena that includes
Fortune 500 prospects, AV/IT consulting firms, national architectural and design firms,
and national construction management firms. Create and maintain top-of-mind
awareness of Level 3 Audiovisual expertise.
Accountabilities:
· Proven track record of securing F500/Enterprise clientele
· Exhibit a consultative sales approach to determine a customer’s technology needs
· Cleary communicate with clients and staff regarding project scopes and deliverables
· Uncover project opportunities and manage throughout hand off to Operations or special projects team
· Identify and select core group of consultants, architects, and construction management firms to target on a continuing basis:
- Schedule and present Level 3 Audiovisual’s capabilities
- Develop relationships with senior level and key decision makers in target organizations
Further:
· Present Level 3 Audiovisual offerings with appropriate Enterprise prospects and organizations
· Assist fellow team-mate efforts where necessary with larger opportunities
· Assist with large opportunity proposal development as necessary
· Participate in AVIXA, IFMA, AIA, and other pertinent organizations for networking purposes as approved
· Continuous education in the technology field
· Ability to travel and telecommute/work from home (home office in AZ/salespeople can live in another state)
PERFORMANCE METRICS:
· (10) Ten new qualified Leads/Opportunities each month
· Follow up/schedule meetings with (6) six existing clients per month to update on Level 3 Audiovisual and discuss new opportunities
· Maintain detailed business development pipeline tracker and locate all opportunities within NetSuite
· Participate with management in a monthly conference call to review activities and progress toward metrics. Currently scheduled on the 1stMonday of each month.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
· Knowledge in the Audiovisual Industry
· Ability to assess business opportunities and coordinate specialists to harvest business
· Clear communication of AV/IT solutions that best fit the clients’ needs
· Confidence and Perseverance
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks / projects
· Superb understanding of Level 3 Audiovisual and its products and services ability to communicate the same
· High level verbal and written communication skills
· Problem solving and trouble shooting skills
· IT skills
QUALIFICATIONS
· College degree preferred
· 7+ years sales and / or business development experience with high level executives
· AV/IT experience preferred
· Detail orientation and ability to follow-through with lengthy projects
· Excellent spelling, grammar, and business proposal preparation skills
· Creativity and independent thinking
· Deductive reasoning and application skills
· Proven proficiency in common software applications including but not limited to PowerPoint, Excel, Word, internet savvy.
