The Sales Coordinator develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers primarily by phone to increase sales of an organization's products and/or services. Coordinates with field sales team members to ensure goals are met. Provides support to customers over the phone and may conduct field visits, as necessary.
You will need to take ownership of daily tasks:
- Reviews orders for ideas to expand services available to present customers.
- Calls on prospects to explain features of services, cost, and advantages.
- Writes orders and schedules initiation of services.
- Confers with customers and company officials to resolve complaints.
- Oversees all aspects of customer shipments.
- Coordinates advertising for trade show participation.
- May assist in collecting payments on accounts.
- Other duties as assigned.

Other important information:
While performing the responsibilities of the Sales Coordinator, you will be seated at a desk, using a phone and computer, the majority of your work day. Less than 5% of your job duties will require the ability to: walk long distances, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. The noise level is usually low, as consistent with an office environment. At times, some light lifting may be required, up to 10 lbs.
