Cole & Durham Insurance is looking to fill a Sales Advisor position in Madisonville, KY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building relationships to solicit and sell insurance products and services to existing and new customers. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in their career and have experience working in a professional and client-centric environment.

One benefit of this position that that the ideal candidate will be able to take over the management of an existing book of business instead of starting from scratch.

Job Responsibilities:

• Effectively use sales techniques to identify prospective clients to provide leads for new business
• Contact and qualify prospective clients and explain features and merits of policies offered
• Call policyholders to deliver and explain policy, suggest additions or changes in programs
• Assist policy holders with insurance claims
• Develop long-term relationships with clients, carriers, and underwriters
• Gather complete client information necessary for marketing the account
• Assist with client renewal, develop renewal and marketing strategies
• Assist agency in developing carrier relationships

Education and Experience:

• At least 2 years related experience and/or training
• Current KY property and casualty insurance license required

Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
