JOST INTERNATIONAL IS HIRING AN INSIDE SALES ASSOCIATE FOR A POSITION IN GRAND HAVEN, MICHIGAN
JOST International belongs to the JOST World family headquartered in Neu Isenberg Germany. Our history began on January 1, 1981, in Grand Haven, Michigan. The Michigan location is both the North America corporate headquarters and the landing gear and king pin manufacturing plant. JOST sells to semi-truck and trailer builders, and we currently hold over 70% market share worldwide in the heavy-duty truck Landing Gear industry.
INSIDE SALES ASSOCIATE INTRODUCTION:
This position reports to the Vice President Of Trailer Product Sales & Development with dotted line to Inside Sales Manager & Customer Service Manager. It is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties and has authority delegated commensurate with assigned responsibilities.
Responsible to work in a support capacity to assist the Inside & Outside Sales Department. This role is to maintain positive customer relations working in concert with customers to meet their needs.
INSIDE SALES ASSOCIATE AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Include, but are not limited to:

• Order entry into the ERP system using established processes verifying part information is accurate, order agrees with pricing schedules and/or quotes.
• Notifies management timely of order issues providing detailed and proactive information.
• Assigns and verifies correct and appropriate lead time of order delivery to customer to include accurate routings, carriers.
• Basic customer service duties include answering emails, phone calls and all related from initial point of contact to customer receipt of the product.
• Supports the JOST International inside and outside sales department staff.
• Required to perform timely and daily communications to JOST’s inside & outside sales and departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
• May provide sales quotation’s to customers using predefined guidelines, under the direction of the Department Manager.
• Provides essential communication and feedback to JOST Inside Sales team staff members.
• Forwards warranty issue communication to appropriate management in timely manner.
• Any additional duties that have not been specifically stated, but which may be assigned and those that are logically and properly inherent to this position.

INSIDE SALES ASSOCIATE REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of an Associates Degree in a business related field.
• Ability to learn the current JOST ERP system.
• Solid working knowledge in Microsoft Office; Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Excellent communication, verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to take direction and work independently but also as part of a highly effective team.
• Capable of working in a fast paced office environment with successful multi-tasking and the ability to handle multiple projects at various stages of completion, successfully and timely.
• Highly dependable, motivated and self-driven with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Ability to gain knowledge and understanding of JOST company products, company quality and safety procedures and the JOST International Basic Processes.

INSIDE SALES ASSOCIATE PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• This is primarily a sedentary role in an office setting. While performing duties of this job, the employee will regularly; sit, stand, walk, reach, bend, twist and occasionally will be required to stoop, kneel, lift or move objects of less than fifty pounds.
