Inside Sales Representative

T&A Industrial Distributors is a leading provider of metalworking products, maintenance repair and operating (MRO) products, and safety products for customers in manufacturing, power generation, institutional and government businesses. Additionally, we offer a saw service center, tool repair, vending solutions, and vendor managed inventory services.

Learn more at [please apply online] on our growth, T&A Industrial Distributors is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Professional who will focus primarily on customer account management and new business development for the Green Bay Location.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess at minimum a High School Diploma.

Candidates will have excellent verbal communication skills, basic knowledge of MROP products, and beproficient with Microsoft Word and Excel. Prior experience with CRM and ERP systems while not required is preferred.

Role Requirements

• Answer incoming customer phone calls
• Enter phone, fax, mail, and counter orders
• Prepare customer quotations
• Make stock recommendations and set up new items for customers
• Purchase special items for specific customers as needed
• Place all drop ship purchase orders
• Assist with supplier price changes
• Source information and product for customers
• Control customer blanket order releases
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required
• Initiate return authorizations and repair orders.
• Maintain current price lists as needed for quoting customer orders.
• Work jointly with Outside Sales, Warehouse, Purchasing, IT and Marketing departments

Additional Experience…Prior industry-related sales experience in manufacturing including but not limited to: cutting tools, abrasives, fabrication, CNC machining, technical product sales or applications are a plus.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Inside sales: 1 year (Preferred)
