The ideal candidate for this position has strong communication skills, a passion for insurance and a good understanding of the needs of the people in our community. The Insurance Agent is highly efficient in interacting with customers and is knowledgeable about current insurance practices and regulations. An agent must have a sense of urgency, provide clear, concise information to customers and be available to offer advice or answer questions when appropriate. The position requires an individual with at least two years experience as an Insurance Agent.

Responsibilities:

· Competitive base salary (commensurate with experience)

Qualifications for the Insurance Sales Representative / Producer :

· Property & Casualty license is preferred or willing to obtain

· Sales or client-facing experience is required

· Life & Health license is a plus, will eventually have to obtain

· Microsoft OS experience, must be tech savvy

· Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability and ethical behavior

· Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and listening

· Must have strong interpersonal communication skills

· Must be motivated and determined

Responsibilities for the Insurance Sales Representative / Producer :

· Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales

· Establish client relationships and follow up with clients, as needed

· Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly client support. (support can include responding to inquiries)

· Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day

· Develop new financial service opportunities with both existing and new clients

Pay: $40,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
