Tom McMullan, State Farm Agency, located in Carlsbad, NM, is currently looking for a talented, caring, professional to join our team as a Customer Service Sales Representative. This is a position focused on Customer Service and Sales for a well-established State Farm Agent.

If you have a talent for customer care and understand the needs and motivations of people, we want you on our team! As our Customer Service Sales Representative, you’ll work to inspire customer loyalty and significantly enhance the overall State Farm Insurance customer experience. Insurance experience is not required we will train the right person with the right skill set!

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Answer phones and greet clients.
• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
• Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.

Requirements

• Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
• Bilingual is a plus
• Self-motivated
• Detail oriented
• Proactive in problem solving
• Ability to assess customer needs and conduct effective interviews

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
