Jersey Coast Insurance is looking for a motivated, exceptional Personal Lines CSR to work alongside a phenomenal staff and growing agency. TWO YEARS MIN. Experience is required. (Candidates without experience and a PL Insurance License will not be considered.)

We have two active office locations: Margate, NJ & Stone Harbor, NJ, Candidate will mainly be working full time in the Margate office to start.

Requirements & Duties:

*TWO YEARS MINIMUM experience in an agency setting is required. (Candidates without experience and an active NJ P&C Insurance License will not be considered.)

*An Active NJ P&C Insurance License.

*Candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and phone etiquette. Position will require answering phone calls regularly.

*A positive, friendly disposition & can-do attitude. As a member of the PL team, you will often be the first impression our customers gain of our agency via phone & in person.

*Good knowledge of Flood (NFIP as well as Private) & PL insurance with experience in coastal properties.

*Able to review and respond to customer requests quickly and accurately.

*Must be comfortable processing renewal policies, obtaining quotes for both new and existing customers, and learning new company systems.

*Must be able to gain a quick working knowledge of our agency management system

*Organization, prioritization, and time management skills

*Attention to detail and accuracy

*Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook, Word, Excel

*Daily sorting & processing of emailed & mailed endorsements

*Processing renewal payments in each carrier system for renewals and new business

*Act as support for other members of Staff when needed, up to and including AVP & Agency Owner

*Other responsibilities as needed in a fast growing insurance agency..

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
