Overview:
Responsible for providing excellent customer service and quoting product and lead times quickly and accurately. Fast paced role that includes customer follow ups, communicating leads to outside sales team, and building relationships both internally and externally.
Essential Duties:
Establish, develop, and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in order to generate new business for the organization’s products and services.
Respond to prospective customer inquiries and requests for quotations.
Perform business development calls, suggest products related to customer orders, follow up routinely.
Support existing product lines by fielding technical questions from customers.
Identify new business opportunities within distribution, end user targets, and large industrial projects.
Assist outside sales personal with all phases of project related information.
Handle orders, complaints, and other inquiries.
Perform data entry when orders are completed or changed.
Process sales data and progress reports.
Other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate:
Previous Inside Sales/Counter Sales experience preferred.
A degree in Marketing or Business, and/or three years’ experience in selling plumbing supplies, industrial construction materials preferred.
Team work and collaboration a must.
Self-driven & goal oriented, desire to be a top performer.
Good organizational skills and the ability to demonstrate solid sales strategy system.
Above average verbal and written communication.
Must be able to work under time pressures, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
