Inside Sales Representative Opportunity
This position will assist with the management of the backlog to include order entry, purchasing, expediting, invoicing, collections, reporting, and other administrative duties as needed. The Inside Sales Representative should possess good organizational, analytical, time management, communication, and problem resolution skills
Job Responsibilities:
· Provide part and process specific quotations by utilizing historical data, industry standard specifications, engineering drawings, part characteristics and quantities in conjunction with customer and contract flow down requirements.
· Coordinate post-production cost analysis on key parts & programs to continuously improve effectiveness of historical data.
· To perform this job successfully, you must be able to satisfactorily perform each of these duties:
· Enter and process new orders, change orders, and maintenance orders.
· Manage change requests for job assignments, forecast dates, and line item break-outs.
· Create and receive purchase orders for various material and services required, including safety equipment, hardware, subcontractors, etc.
· Create and distribute various reports to check compliance of established processes.
· Assist with onboarding of new customer service employees.
· Field and respond to various questions covering a wide range of topics.
· Other administrative duties as needed (expediting, labor transfers, etc.).
· Maintains customer relationships in order to grow sales.
· Monitor the status of open customer purchase orders.
· Provide support to Territory Account Managers/customers with quotes, pricing and other requests.
Minimum Job Requirements/Qualifications:
· 3+ years of experience in customer service preferred.
· Current and relevant ERP system experience preferred. Experience with Sage 100 is a plus.
· Demonstrated experience utilizing Excel and other MS Office products at least at intermediate level.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Ability to demonstrate sharp critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
· Strong sense of commitment to meeting deadlines.
· Previous experience in an industrial field is a plus.
· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, meeting customer service standards.
· Demonstrated strong work ethic, reliability, teamwork and flexibility.
