Job Description:
In this role you will be responsible for leading, guiding and developing a team of remote and on-premise Reservation Sales Agents whose goal is to close new and service existing reservations via inbound/outbound calls, e-mails and chats from guests, loyalty club members, and travel agents to achieve high team productivity in both sales and service which foster the values of 5-Star luxury brand hotel products and loyalty services.
Responsibilities:
- Coach and develop sales agents by conducting regular 1- on-1 skill building and development sessions.
- Serve as a mentor to the team and maintain high employee satisfaction levels
- Resolve escalations including handling calls and emails until resolved
- Ensure agents properly use and communicate details of hotel and loyalty club products and services to effectively close reservation sales
- Conduct training sessions with team members and meet with the Sales Coach, facilitators, and leadership team to make changes to training that increase sales and service
- Receive and service Inbound and Outbound calls on Supervisor line and on reservations queues as needed in times of high call volume to meet departmental service and sales objectives.
- Submit productivity reporting to leadership
- Assist in the selection of Reservation Agents by conducting interviews
- Assume full responsibility for learning of new skills, systems, techniques, and programs
- Provide front line technical assistance with agents and work with IT to resolve any IT issues
Qualifications
- 2 years supervisory experience in a sales environment preferably within a call center
- Travel, hotel, or hospitality industry experience a plus
- Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to negotiate solutions
- Strong analytical skills including ability to review employee data and behavior to target coaching opportunities
- Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to write professional letters using proper grammar and correct spelling, and confidence speaking in front of large groups
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Availability to work a flexible schedule during call center operating hours, which may include some evenings and weekends

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
