About us

HPS Specialties is a manufacturer’s representative and distribution company, located in Mt. Airy, MD, serving the mechanical & plumbing contractors’ industry, seeking a self-driven motivated individual to support its outside sales staff and customer base.

Inside Sales Representatives are responsible for sourcing new business by qualifying leads, planning and scheduling meetings, and tracking results. You must be detail-oriented and possess the motivation to meet sales goals and quotas. This is an ideal position for a candidate with sales or telemarketing experience and requires excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Solve customer problems over the phone.
• Be able to talk to many customers every day.
• Answer customer questions about products or services.
• Use a computer for much of the day.
• Take notes.
• Be able to explain complex or technical information in a clear and understandable way.
• Talk on the phone all day long with customers and coworkers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,500.00 - $65,000.00 per year
