About Us
ArborPro, Inc is a full-service urban forestry consulting company with over seventeen years of experience. We provide municipalities, universities, and federal government agencies with a full spectrum of urban forestry services. We specialize in GIS tree inventories, hazardous tree assessments, disease and insect infestation identification, urban forest management plans, and tree mapping software. Our core business includes a comprehensive GIS management software program and tree inventory services provided by ISA Certified arborists.
Location
We are seeking a candidate who is Southern California based but is willing and able to travel as need be for trade shows or conferences.
Position Description
ArborPro, Inc is seeking a sales/business developer representative who will primarily be responsible for attracting new clients. Our developer rep will be responsible for targeting, cold calling, creating relationships, delivering sales pitches, and solidifying deals with prospective clients through his/her own engagement and sales methods.
Job Duties Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Achieve forecasted sales goals.
- Manage the sales pipeline and source leads.
- Plan and execute sales activities that will ensure sales growth objectives.
- Be able to properly demonstrate the features and benefits of Company instrumentation to customers.
- Set demo sessions with the potential customers to convert.
- Meet customer requirements (responsive, schedule conscious, etc) and maintain relationships.
- Provide forecasts, reports, marketing intelligence, and information.
- Attend and represent the Company at local and national exhibitions and meetings.
- On-board customers and keep the communication alive.
- Make sound judgement decisions, adapt in a dynamic and changing environment and be an advocate for our clients and the company.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications
An individual must be able to perform each essential job duty consistently and satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Required
· Experience with multiple sales prospecting methods.
· Problem solving and ability to learn quickly.
· Proven ability to manage entire sales process from prospecting through close.
· Ability to work autonomously and remain highly organized.
Preferred
· Experience in urban forestry, preferably municipal and commercial tree maintenance sales or related.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
