Job Summary

CSR

We are currently recruiting for a proactive sales oriented representative to work in our new Knoxville,TN location. The main objectives of this position are to ensure effective operation of the branch and lead other employees in servicing the needs of the customer base. This individual is responsible for all facets of branch operation. He/She is expected to provide a leadership and professional style conducive to generating a team attitude toward maintaining effective customer relationships. This individual will be responsible for in-store sales and customer service, as well as aggressively pursuing new customers by securing new prospect appointments to promote our services.

Metal knowledge would be an asset but not necessary. We will provide the necessary metal training to complement your sales and customer relationship skills.

JOB FUNCTIONS

• Provide consistent, superior service by ensuring that all customer needs are recognized, serviced, and high customer satisfaction is maintained at all times.

• Achieve sales/budget targets which include attention to maintaining stock control; gross margins and managing cost budget.

• Supervise and contribute to all aspects of running the branch including selling, purchasing, quoting, telesales and material handling.

• Ensure all procedures relating to maintenance of equipment are followed.

• Prepare customer orders based on material and size specifications.

• Prepare material for shipment by truck, courier or customer pickup.

• Provide proper maintenance of equipment and keep the work area clean and safe for customers and other employees.

• Receive, identify and stock incoming materials as per Receiving Procedures.

• Provide excellent customer service

• Achieve sales targets

• Maintain and grow existing accounts

Position will require ability to occasionally lift 75 lbs, operate fork lift and shop equipment(band saw and shear).
