This positions offers: competitive base compensation & monthly commission
Responsibilities:
- Sell Harrington Process Solutions products and services to existing key customers, who have a significant strategic impact on the long-term success of Harrington Process Solutions.
- This unique position within Harrington Process Solutions requires a detailed knowledge of both the Inside Sales role and their collective responsibilities, in addition to a detailed knowledge of the Outside Salesperson’s role within Harrington.
- In charge of the development and execution of the Strategic Account plans for these Strategic Accounts. Doing so by preparing sales information reports and generating and maintaining information in the CRM system.
- Continually develop existing and new contacts within these Strategic Accounts, understanding each contact’s role within the organization and recommend ways to deliver increased value to each of them.
- Engage both Harrington Project Specialist’s, Category Managers, and direct Vendor Support with our Strategic Accounts to bring increased value to each customer.
- Prepare and respond to customer requests for pricing and availability with quotes, by gathering information from submitted bills of material, contacting the customer for additional information, and gathering pricing information from suppliers and utilizing Prelude’s order entry system, using customer discount information.
- Answer phones, assist with all warehouse duties and perform clerical support activities such as maintaining customer and vendor files, processing payables, etc.
- 2-3 years experience or training in industrial wholesale distribution in the pipe, valve and fitting industry preferred
- 2-3 years of sales experience
