National Sales Trainer
Toshiba America Business Solutions, a leader in digital technology, has an excellent opportunity for a National Sales Trainer to work at either our corporate headquarters located in Lake Forest, CA or remotely (out-of-state candidates will also be considered).

Summary: Coordinate and conduct on-boarding sales training programs for TBS (direct sales subsidiary) and independent dealer channels. Develop the sales skills and techniques of TBS and dealer sales organizations through the implementation and delivery of comprehensive sales training programs in support of TABS/TBS business objectives and strategic initiatives. Responsible for distribution and implementation of training tools, resources, as well as providing education and ongoing coaching on professional selling skills, product knowledge and Toshiba solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver sales training and development programs for TBS and TABS dealer sales teams as required.
- Modalities of delivery to include live instructor led training, live online e- learnings and asynchronous self-paced training modules as appropriate. Enhance sales techniques of TBS sales force thru implementation, and delivery of onboarding programs/sales training in order to meet TABS/TBS business objectives.
- Advises sales Team on how to develop their sales capabilities.
- Ensure TBS sales team has full understanding of sales skills and systems operations and features to maximize client perceived value usage and generate interest in additional needs for Toshiba systems, solutions and services.
- Assess TBS sales training programs and resources by conducting needs analysis and enhance training in order to develop a sales team capable of meeting TBS sales objectives and initiatives.
- Update and adapt existing training programs to ensure the needs and strategic focus of the designated regional audiences.
- Work with subject matter experts to develop special training projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Serve as training consultant for the TBS regions.
- Mentor and provide ongoing coaching and field support of TBS sales reps nationally.
- Advise regional TBS sales managers on performance of their sales representatives and provide guidance on the ongoing development of their reps.
- Attend training sessions and product launch [please apply online] to gain knowledge on latest systems, software, services, strategic initiatives, sales tools and resources to remain educated and up to date on Toshiba solutions portfolio.
- Organize and schedule training classes. Develop and maintain reports regarding training progress.
- Coordinate training facilities and classroom equipment as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of sales and/or sales training experience with a focus on development and delivery of educational content. Prior technology Sales experience a plus. High-tech industry experience preferred but not required.
- Must have strong communication skills with the ability to transfer knowledge and selling skills to sales team thru training programs and tools.
- Must have experience coordinating and conducting classroom sales training seminars.
- Must have expertise delivering live virtual trainings utilizing online meeting platforms. Proficiency with Microsoft Teams Meetings, Adobe Connect, Go-To-Meeting/Webinar preferred but not required.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft office 365 including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Teams.
- Additional expertise with training development, video editing and image editing software a plus. Proficiency with Articulate Storyline, Rise, Captivate, Camtasia Studio, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to assess training needs and program success.
- Must have ability to develop and deliver compelling and professional business presentations. Comfort communicating and delivering presentations to all levels (from sales reps to executive leadership).
- Ability to interact in a fast-paced environment in a polished and professional manner.
- Must have ability to travel.

- Salaried and Exempt Pay Range for position (paid biweekly) is $82,000.00 to $100,000.00 annually depending on experience
