Mielke Oil Company is seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Representatives to join our Environmental Services team based in Little Falls, MN.
Mielke Oil Company provides leading-edge lubricant products, chemicals, diesel exhaust fluid (DEF), equipment and environmental solutions to the Commercial, Industrial, Trucking and Automotive Industries throughout the Upper Midwest. Based in Minnesota, Mielke Oil Company services customers located in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North and South Dakota. Customers looking for trusted brands such as Valvoline, Castrol, Eneos, Kendall, Phillips 66, VP Lubricants and our very own Vision Premium Products turn to Mielke Oil for their products and environmental solutions.
As an Inside Sales Representative in our Environmental Services Division you will cultivate new business and manage existing business to continually grow the business via out going cold calling, in coming calls and email campaigns. The Inside Sales Representative establishes and executes specific plans to drive new sales, as well as, implementing customized solutions for the customers, The successful candidate must have the ability to foster new relationships while maintaining current relationships and possess a drive for success.
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for establishing, growing and managing new and existing customer relationships and communications.
- Must learn our customers businesses, understand their needs and challenges and develop solutions to meet their needs.
- Must continue to identify business needs and opportunities, as well as develop and implement customized solutions for our customers.
- Execute high quality out going cold calls to prospects in order to secure new accounts.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities and update all competitive knowledge within the CRM system.
- Not afraid of the phones, Must have strong phone presence.
- Must be comfortable calling on business owners asking them to purchase our products or services.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be 25 years of age or older.
- 2 years inside sales experience.
- Must be able to use a computer.
- Excellent math and communication abilities.
- Excellent listener with strong presentation skills.
Prefer Qualifications:
- Previous inside sales cold calling experience and knowledge of common technical terms.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
- Strong Leadership and motivational skills.
- Excellent organization and follow-up skills.
- A desire to succeed in a competitive sales environment.
