Now Hiring - Property Manager in Kent, OH

Position responsibilities:

• Inspect and arrange maintenance to meet company standards
• Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants
• Field calls from tenants, communicate with appropriate personnel regarding issues to be addressed
• Find appropriate contractors and secure quotes in a timely and reliable manner
• Find appropriate materials at best pricing and delivery options
• Advertise and market vacant spaces to attract tenants and renew occupied units
• Process and maintain lease documents, and set up and maintain tenant accounts in software
• Bookkeeping & invoicing
• Record keeping
• Host unit showings and open house events

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED),
• Experience: Two to four years related experience in residential property management and/or general office management
• Office equipment: competent use of wireless printer, Wi-Fi, adding machine
• Computer Skills: Rent Manager experience preferable, Mac/Apple iOS experience preferred, Basic accounting knowledge, Intermediate computer knowledge of MS Word, Excel for Mac, Rent Manager or related program, Google Docs, type min. 40 wpm, Excellent proficiency in Excel is a plus

Schedule:

• 6-hour shift, extra
• 55-65 hours during peak leasing or turnover periods 3-6 weeks per year
• Monday to Thursday
• 11 am – 5 pm with limited flexibility

Pay Range/Benefits:

• $17 - $21 per hour depending on experience

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
