The Progressive Group, a division of Patrick Industries, is a distributor of home, car, and powersports electronics representing over 80 top brands and is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join their growing team!

In this exciting position, the Inside Sale Rep will be responsible for working with walk-in customers purchasing electronics and speaking to Customers over the phone to take orders and recommend products that best fit their needs. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in sales or expand their existing talents in a spot with a ton of opportunity! This role will be the essential link between Customers, Outside Sales, and Distribution.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Greet walk-in customers and answer questions in regards to products and pricing
• Understand the customers’ needs and identify sales opportunities
• Develop rapport with new and existing customers
• Enter Customer orders into the system, both over the phone and in-person
• Track Customer orders and communicate any updates or potential issues
• Follow-up on cold and warm leads to further the sales process
• Maintain and update the system of current and potential customers
• Pull products from the warehouse to fulfill customer orders and remerchandise the front of the store, when needed

Qualifications and Skills:

• 1+ years’ experience in a sales or customer service role mandatory
• Candidates must be self-motivated and highly driven to work in a competitive market with limited oversight
• Knowledge of car and/or home audio technology system design is desired, but not mandatory
• Exhibits excellent communication skills, both oral and written: is clear, concise, sincere and persuasive
• Demonstrates creativity and initiative in capturing new business
• Possesses excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a team environment
• High degree of ownership and self-initiation skills as well as a positive professional demeanor
