Job Description
Farmers Insurance is looking for talented individuals to join our top ranked team in SW Missouri and SE Kansas. We are looking for individuals who want to take control of their life and financial future and become an agency owner with Farmers Insurance. You will own your own business, make a residual income, build equity to either sell when you retire or pass down to your family. We have seen people from all backgrounds do very well in this industry due to the training and assistance we provide.
Successful candidates should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a strong desire to build a business. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advice and solutions to our clients, helping them choose the best insurance coverage for their individual needs. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in sales, customer service and management.
Retail Agent: Start with a branded office location and staff. You receive extensive training support through the process, but best of all an aggressive bonus and commission structure. Proof of financial assets required, but you never give a penny to Farmers.
Associate Agent: Provides motivated individuals seeking an entrepreneurial startup opportunity with access to a 24-month business support program and a nationally recognized brand. You will work with a mentor district manager/business coach who can help you establish additional skillsets for business success. This program does not have a financial asset requirement.

Responsibilities include:
· Provide advice and solutions to clients on insurance products
· Develop, implement and manage insurance strategies
· Analyze clients’ needs and provide appropriate products and services
· Stay up-to-date on insurance products, industry trends and regulations
· Ensure clients’ satisfaction and maintain good customer relationships
· Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
· Monitor changes in rates and regulations and recommend appropriate solutions
· Maintain accurate records of all insurance transactions
