Full description of the position

Position Title: Inside Sales Representative (ISR)

Overall Objective: The ISR is responsible retaining and growing Navajo Express, Inc. customer base. He/she uses available resources to learn customers’ businesses, identify business needs, and proactively contact customers to position Navajo’s products and services to meet their needs. This position is responsible for prioritizing customer opportunities and focusing attention on accounts with the greatest opportunity and likelihood of success. The ISR also creates contacts, monitors contractual compliance, and answers customer questions. They are also responsible to provide leads and opportunities to Regional Sales Area Manager.

Working Relationship:

Reports to: National Sales Director

Responsibilities:

· Plan and Conduct sales calls to address customer needs

· Sell additional products and services

· Retain current business

· Follow up on leads

· Assist Regional Sales Managers grow their territories

· Builds relationships with key decision makers and acts as a customer advocate

· Researches competitors strategies and offerings

· Uses product knowledge to generate solutions that meet customer needs and business objectives

· Pre-call duties include using automated sales tools to perform research into customers’ businesses and account information in order to develop appropriate selling and pricing strategies.

· Responds to and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and issues

· Coordinate opportunities and strategies with Regional Sales Account Managers

· Maintain knowledge of Navajo’s products and services to develop appropriate sales solutions.

· Provide compelling value proposals to potential and existing customers

· Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned from time to time.

KPI’s:

Daily Salesforce Activity

Minimum of 30 calls a day

Interaction with Regional Sales Account Managers

Interaction with Customer Service

(Each of these will be monitored through Salesforce)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Technical Capacity

· Knowledge of the transportation industry is a plus

Qualities or attributes:

Working Conditions: Routine office environment, climate controlled workspaces.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
