We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sales & Business Development / Account Management Specialist that is self-driven with excellent communication skills who enjoys building, leading, and working in a customer centric environment. Working closely with our executive team, this role will eventually form the core of our expanding Sales and Business Development management team. In addition, the candidate for this role should have experience developing new B2B accounts, create virtual presentations & proposals, and provide product offerings/solutions.
Attending industry trade shows/fair will be required. This is a long term opportunity - not just a job.
Responsibilities
- Drive the achievement of sales, revenue goals, and adding new customers.
- Assist customers in their purchasing decisions by providing product suggestions, features and benefits.
- Create and execute product presentations to customers.
- Accurately enter customer purchasing information, including but not limited to estimates, PO, and/or invoices.
- Perform market research on customer requested products for industry pricing and availability.
- Develop online marketing proposals and solutions.
- Execute sales and marketing campaigns to drive revenue growth.
- Work and negotiate with product suppliers, manufacturers, and 3rd party vendors.
- Generate leads, follow-up with customers, qualify prospects, and secure new accounts.
- Analyze the local market to identify market opportunities.
- Ensure all orders are processed in a timely and responsive manner.
- Provide timely artwork instructions from customers to suppliers and or manufacturers.
- Enhance business development skills by participating in various training programs as assigned.
- Performs additional functions, duties, and specific tasks of a similar nature and scope as necessary to achieve set business objectives.
- Able to successfully build, lead, and train sales associates and teams.
- Update, troubleshoot, and resolve support issue tickets.
- Participate or lead in industry trade shows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- 10+ years of related experience which can include: Account Management, Business Planning, Customer Success Manager, Customer Engagement Manager, Customer Service Manager, or Sales Manager.
- Proven sales and managerial skills.
- Experience leverging CRM's (Salesforce, Zoho, and other tools) and activity management.
- Technology acumen with the ability to resolve technical issues (no programming skills required).
- Strong customer value orientation skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Able to effectively engage with executives and C-level stakeholders.
- Highly self-motivated and able to work with significant autonomy.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Experience in the promotional products industry is a plus!
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $37,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
