Our Company, AGM Management, is looking for an experienced Affordable Housing Property Manager that would be willing to work in-person 35-40+ hours per week. This would be a one-man front-office team responsible for the oversight and completion of all daily operational needs for two of our local affordable-housing apartment communities (approx. 60 - 150 total units).
The property management duties require the individual to ensure that the property is complying with all relevant industry compliance requirements in addition to enforcing internal leasing policies. The Property Manager in this role will be responsible for ensuring that the property reaches maximum occupancy, does not exceed budgetary limitations, and provides residents with an optimal community engagement experience.

- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred
- Competence in using standard office equipment required; Property management software experience preferred
- Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills required
- COS, Fair Housing, or equivalent industry-specific training/certifications preferred
- Prior experience in affordable housing or property management industry preferred
Essential/Core Functions of the Property Manager role might include, but are not limited to:
- Process rent collections and send out notices for overdue payments
- Coordinate communication with tenants, upper-level management, and independent contractors
- Assist the on-site maintenance team with regular housing quality inspections to verify and document maintenance needs
- Organize resident activities to foster a sense of community
- Address crime and security threats as applicable
- Provide property reports to regional management on a regular basis
- Comply with internal Company and external HUD policies/practices
- Complete all other duties as assigned by appropriate Company representatives
