The Partner Solutions Channel implements solution-based sales strategies and uncovers new business opportunities with Strategic Partners across the US. The role of the Account Executive is to work within their assigned accounts to uncover new business opportunities and grow the base of T-Mobile customers within the Partner Channel.
Job Responsibilities:
- Dedicated to growing our partner base, the AE will develop relationships and drive T-Mobile wireless, mobile Internet and IoT business with new and existing partners.
- Lead and develop sales operation directives specific to assigned accounts with the Partner Account team. Work cross functionally within the partner team and business sales teams to generate lead campaigns and programs for their assigned accounts. Partner with accounts to generate deal registration and funnel growth brought to T-Mobile from assigned partners,
- Focused on driving revenue and subscriber growth, will manage the end-to-end sales process independently: generate leads, maintain the pipeline, respond to queries, create pitches, conduct negotiations and work the deal to closure. Execute channel strategy and influence performance of assigned accounts and prospects to achieve core postpaid activation growth, revenue generation, feature ARPU level, churn reduction, and other sales key performance indicators.
Education:
- High School Diploma/GED (Required)
- Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
Work Experience:
- 5 - 7 years Partner Channel sales experience required, preferably in technology or telecommunications environment required.
- Experience selling within a large territory required.
- Mobile phone sales management experience a plus, but not required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Cross Functional Team Building Able to work collaboratively in a diverse, cross-functional workplace. (Required)
- Strategic Leadership Demonstrated track record of success implementing strategies to grow / bottom line results. (Required)
- Business Analysis Business analysis skills along with in-depth third-party distribution experience. (Preferred)
- Communication Excellent communication and influencing skills. (Required)
- Telecommunications Understanding of wireless / mobile solutions and how they can be used in key verticals such as transportation, hospitality, education, healthcare, health, retail, media, and travel. (Preferred)
Licenses and Certifications:
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- T-Mobile requires all employees in this position to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, unless precluded from doing so by applicable law. The CDC currently defines “fully vaccinated” as two weeks after the second dose for Pfizer and Moderna, and two weeks after the single dose of Johnson & Johnson. T-Mobile will require proof of vaccination, and will consider requests for exemption from this requirement during the offer phase (1) as a reasonable accommodation for medical reasons or sincerely held religious beliefs where the accommodation would not cause T-Mobile undue hardship or pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others, or (2) for other reasons under applicable law.
