INH Property Management is hiring a Property Accounting Manager to support our continued growth. The Property Accounting Manager is responsible for accurate reporting of all financial statements for properties managed by INH Properties and oversees a team of four property accountants. This role reports to the Controller and ownership.

**UP TO $5,000 SIGN ON BONUS (Dependent on Experience)**

Job Description:

• Manages the Property Accounting Department to ensure accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports and analyses including, but not limited to, internal and external financial statements.
• Manage and monitor day-to-day operational accounting activities (property payables, receivables, tenant lease charges, security deposits, etc.)
• Establish and maintain systems and internal controls which verify the integrity financial systems, processes, and data.
• Ensure that all policies and procedures are documented and that all staff work is routinely reviewed in accordance with standard operating procedures and practices.

· Working with external public accounting firms to ensure timely filed tax returns and tax payments for all properties managed.

• Responsible for recommending and enforcing the internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Work directly with Regional Property Managers and Partners to determine and meet all client’s accounting needs.
• Develop, mentor, and manage accounting team of four property accounting staff. Perform performance reviews and contribute to compensation conversations for staff.

Who We Are Looking For (Ideal Candidate):

• Knowledge of accounting principles, laws/regulations, and GAAP
• 5+ years accounting experience
• Ability to manage multiple activities/projects concurrently and prioritize accordingly
• Tech savvy – familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Yardi, digital workload management, and comfortable learning new software programs
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (XLOOKUPS, SUMIF, Pivot Tables, formulas, etc.)
• Communication skills to effectively work with clients and colleagues
• Positive attitude and open to feedback necessary for continued growth and development
• An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers and problem solving
• Intellectually curious, self-starter who is not afraid to seek out projects independently
• Must have the ability to maintain the utmost level of confidentiality.

Preferred but not required:

• Experience upgrading/implementing financial, ERP and other business systems
• Yardi Voyageur Experience
• CPA
• 2+ years of experience managing a team

Working Conditions:

• Currently 100% onsite in Waite Park, MN (no remote work)
• Salaried, with expectation to work approximately 40-45 hours per week on average.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $85,000.00 per year
