Inside Technical Sales / Customer Service Representative

Foam Equipment & Consulting Co. is a small distributing business selling and servicing industrial equipment in North America. We are seeking to add a versatile team member capable of handling a variety of tasks on a daily basis. Primary focus is inside sales/customer support but includes purchasing, shipping/receiving and inventory control. This position will focus on parts and component sales with existing and new clients.

Our equipment lines include machinery for producing foam products, recycling equipment, and thermoplastic composite equipment. These products are used in building, aerospace, automotive, appliance, agriculture and many other industries.

Responsibilities:

Process incoming quotation requests and parts orders by phone/email/fax

Actively promote the sales of additional products to customers who call in.

Develop relationships with customers through direct communications including

telephone calls, emails, etc.

Build additional client relationships and sales through phone and email campaigns

Provide product pricing and availability to our customers.

Process orders and communicate status of orders with our customers.

Prepare and issue purchase orders to venders

Receive small shipments and place into inventory

Follow established processes and procedures for purchasing and receipt of products

Inside Technical Support – provide phone support for our customers who call in with questions about our products. Can include some troubleshooting of machinery.

Package small parcels for shipment

Ship and track shipments to customers

Responsible for monitoring and maintaining prescribed inventory levels.

Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

Must have technical experience with industrial components

2 years of industrial Inside Sales or Industrial Customer Service experience.

Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.

Must have good communication and time-management skills.

Must have good typing skills.

Bilingual Spanish an advantage.

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

Strong organizational skills; attention to detail

Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)

Self-Starter, Self-Motivated and Proactive

Ability to operate both independently and in collaboration with others.
