Position Summary
The Channel Sales Director manages the growth strategy and function of the channel team to increase market-share in the eShipping Exchange sector. The Sales Channel Director is responsible for the achieving the growth targets and forecasting results monthly. This role will report directly to the Chief Sales Officer and have access to organizational leaders for optimal strategy execution. The Channel Sales Director will be focused on driving sales growth and building a long-term program to infiltrate the industry through industry trade events and association memberships, as well as other relevant industry resources. The role will oversee organizational processes, manage to Key Performance Indicators, and build consensus across the channel sales team as well as company operations to achieve focus within the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Manage the growth strategy and function of the channel sales team
- Achieve monthly growth targets
- Drive sales growth
- Build long-term program to penetrate targeted industry
- Manage organizational processes
- Track KPI’s of channel team
- Build consensus within the team and company operations
- Organize training programs to ensure sales associates are effective in their targeted vertical industry
- Assist sales associates in closing new business
- Work with Marketing to craft massaging that promotes eShipping as the logistics provider of choice in the market
- Present monthly updates to leadership team
- Other duties as assigned

- Able to work within a climate controlled, fast-paced team environment while performing primarily sedentary work (i.e. sitting at a computer terminal for long periods of time), maintaining standard office hours, and working overtime as necessary to meet customer needs
- Excellent follow-through and detail orientation
Minimum Education and Experience
- At least five years of management experience
- At least ten years of indirect industry experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
- Direct experience selling to large commercial accounts preferred

- Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is inside a central heat and air-conditioned office building. The noise level in the work environment is minimal.
