Job description:

Leasing Coordinator – Property Management

Our expanding St. Louis portfolio seeks a Leasing Coordinator with deep affordable housing experience to drive the lease-up of two properties exclusively set-aside for seniors. One community caters to seniors 62 years and older; the second 50 years of age and older. The person we seek is a responsible and welcoming presence. Emphasis is placed on legendary customer service, and the ability to refine and implement the marketing and leasing plan to achieve established goals.

Our leasing coordinator demonstrates the following:

  • Tech savvy with experience in social media and online marketing
  • Experience in outreach and localized marketing
  • Ability to build brand awareness and ties to the community
  • Ability to create mini-model units that convey the strength of the product
  • Impeccable customer service with all prospects
  • Respond to prospect messaging the same business day
  • Greet, tour and close prospects to achieve leasing goals
  • Obtain file approval, and execute all move-in paperwork completely
  • Provide orientation to new residents
  • Follow-up with new residents at 30, 60 and 90 day intervals.
  • Drive lease renewals in conjunction with annual recertifications
  • Take direction to maintain Section 42 compliance
  • Observe Fair Housing law, Company policies and Section 42 guidelines
  • Other duties as deemed necessary

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of social media and online marketing
  • 3+ years’ experience in residential leasing
  • Detailed and process orientated
  • Ability to multi-task and be results focused
  • Proficient in MS Office, Word and Excel
  • OneSite software experience preferred
  • HUD and LIHTC experience a plus

Starting at $19 an hour; pay commensurate with experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

  • residential leasing: 3 years (Required)
