Job Description:
Performing diversified sales and customer service duties. Role will require the ability to use technical and customer service skills in building and maintaining relationship with customers to sell products and services and ensure customer satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Planning and performing sales work; develop sales leads; by cultivating and maintaining good working relationships
  • Working from broad objectives and assignments in securing sale orders from existing and new accounts with the focus of demonstrating and promoting the company’s product capability to customers, meeting with all levels of customer’s management to developing a thorough understanding of the customer’s needs.
  • Monitoring competitive activity in the marketplace by determining value management/positioning of the product in the market and competitive differentiation.
  • The collaboration with buyers/manufacturing to establish scheduling of manufacturing and/or the shipment dates.
  • Analyzing market trends and recommend sales and promotion techniques
  • Supporting finance in securing open account receivables from customer base
  • Supporting internal and external customers with required logistical information
  • Performing various duties and assignments

Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrating initiative, have innovative thinking, and have the ability to influence
  • Being knowledgeable of sales, pricing procedures, quotations, and proposals
  • Understanding our broad company product and have technical knowledge
  • Having excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to interface effectively with all levels of internal and external personnel
  • Having a background of strong technical and analytical skills
  • Being proficient in MS Office, SAP and/or XA is a plus
  • Possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills; being able to independently problem solve while interacting with various teams and teammates on daily process
  • The capability of multi-tasking various duties and assignments, having a positive attitude with an ability to be versatile and flexible.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate
  • Associate Degree plus 1+ years of related experience and/or training; or have equivalent combination of education and experience. The training time for this position is generally 6 to 9 months

Schedule:
This position requires a rotating on-call schedule that includes some nights and weekends, as well as rotating holidays. This rotation is split among all Customer Service Reps.
