Position Overview

The Customer Accounts Specialist addresses all customer needs relating to customer ordering, accounts payable, sales inquiries, and assists the sales team and owner with miscellaneous needs.

Essential Job Functions

DAILY

· Answering phones and directing calls to appropriate departments

· Assisting customers with placing orders and recommending products; preparing quotes

· Managing work orders accurately and obtaining customer approval

· Sending daily thank you notes to paid orders

· Maintaining Installation sheet for Installation Department

· Managing the front of the store when customers come in to receive orders

· Scheduling sales appointments, visiting customer on site when necessary; quoting jobs

· Make sure proofs go out in orderly fashion and always keep in contact with customer

· Help owner/team on certain projects.

WEEKLY

· Prepare and send out marketing such as letters, postcards, and phone calls

· Follow up on quotes and orders

· Providing friendly and helpful assistance for any customer service issues

· Sending reminders to past due A/R customers – assisting owner/sales team

· Following up on “Ready Orders” that have not been picked up

· Maintaining customer files

Requirements

· Excellent skills with Microsoft Office programs: Outlook, Word and Excel

· Excellent communication skills

· Excellent customer service skills

· Strong organizational skills

· Ability to handle multiple projects at once

· Superior attention to detail

· Self starter and ability to work without constant direction

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
