Direct Sales Associate

As a Direct Sales Associate, you are responsible for acquire new Residential customers by going door-to-door sharing more about Metronet and the services/products that we offer. This role requires someone who is outgoing, with a competitive spirit, who take a “no” as a “not right now” response. This role is a great opportunity for someone who wants to have direct control over their income as this has a base plus uncapped commission earning potential! Get paid for the work and effort that you put it!

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Soliciting residential customers through door-to-door or store-intercept sales efforts
• Explaining and selling services available to our subscribers, maintaining minimum sales quotas, and writing orders for installation of services
• Follow-up on door hangers with phone calls

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience in direct sales (door-to-door) sales, preferably in telecommunications, but not required
• Excellent communication skills, listening, persuasive and closing skills
• Must know how to speak in a clear, understandable and concise manner
• Must be able to listen to what customers want and need
• Neat personal appearance
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to handle rejection
