This is an Equipment Sales Representative position with a well-known aggregate processing & heavy equipment company in Boulder City, Nevada. This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining customer relationships to drive sales/rentals of machinery such as rock crushers, screening equipment, and conveyor systems.
The Equipment Sales Representative builds customer relationships by visiting customer locations to promote the organization with an emphasis on identifying customer needs, communicating our services in detail, and delivering the equipment and rental solutions to the customer.
Here are a few things you will likely find yourself doing in this role...
- Provides value to our customers and cultivates positive relationships by selling equipment and rental solutions that meet their specific needs.
- Looks for opportunities to grow branch sales through increased business with existing customers, new customers, and owners of competitive equipment.
- Promptly follows up with customers and delivers sound advice to help their organization.
- Fills out call reports after visits and profiles customer’s fleet of equipment using the CRM application.
- Communicates customer concerns to the appropriate department manager at the branch when needed.
- Required to help in the annual inventory count of the warehouse.
Here's what you need to have...
- 3-5 years of heavy equipment sales experience.
- Basic knowledge of aggregate processing, crushing equipment, or heavy machinery.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to build and maintain rapport with key accounts.
- Self-reliant and able to work independently; Maintains high levels of motivation with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Knowledge of database software, online parts books, etc.
- Ability to use standard computer applications such as Microsoft Office and Google Docs
Work environment
- This position primarily works out of the company truck. Will also be heading into offices, sand and gravel pits with dust, dirt, and loud noise. Occasionally, this position will be in the sales office and warehouse.
Physical demands
- May occasionally need to deliver parts to a customer. Should be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
