GolfStatus is looking for an experienced Account Manager or fundraising professional to help grow the adoption and use of our technology among nonprofit organizations (NPO) through GolfStatus.org and our Golf for Good program. GolfStatus.org is a division of GolfStatus established to help NPOs more effectively raise money through golf.
About this role:
- Work with nonprofit organizations to implement technology that helps them save time, capture crucial data, and improve fundraising outcomes.
- Take a service-oriented approach to working with our nonprofit clients. Understand and empathize with their needs and challenges, and clearly present and demonstrate relevant solutions and pathways.
- Maintain expert-level product knowledge to confidently consult with nonprofit organizations so they are positioned to take full advantage of the technology and services available to them through GolfStatus.org and our Golf for Good program.
- Present polished presentations to individuals, committees, boards, and other stakeholders, gaining buy-in and skillfully addressing the unique needs of each.
- Work closely with Client Success teammates, providing hands-on assistance where needed and ensuring a consistently stellar experience.
- Build meaningful client relationships that translate into year-over-year renewals.
- Resolve issues quickly and professionally and work to prevent future issues through process improvements.
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in sales/account management, business or nonprofit development, fundraising, or major gifting.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and with a high degree of professionalism and kindness at all times.
- Excellent listener with a strong orientation to helping people and serving others.
- Results-oriented with a growth mindset. Quick learner capable of turning training and feedback into continuous self- and team-improvement.
- Comfortable and effective working both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong emotional intelligence.
- Excellent written and verbal communicator with polished presentation skills.
- Well organized.
- Process-oriented yet resourceful, with the ability to think through and identify solutions when a process or answer doesn’t exist.
Preferred, but not required:
- Experience or knowledge of golf and golf facility operations or golf event operations.
- Experience in the nonprofit or fundraising sector and/or a deep understanding and knowledge of the nonprofit space and the challenges facing fundraisers.
- Experience or knowledge of B2NPO sales and client services and/or SaaS products for nonprofit clients.
