Anco Insurance is an established agency seeking an outgoing, personable individual to provide timely quotes, recognize cross selling opportunities and provide exceptional customer service for personal lines customers in the Bryan, TX office. Personal Lines Account Managers are responsible for the successful management of a book of business, including adding new business and renewing existing business. They advise and educate clients and prospects on complex risk and insurance topics and strategies while working with other client-facing team members in other departments. Successful account managers are organized and strategic. Must have a good work ethic and the ability to set and reach goals.
Responsibilities:
· Will function independently to inform and educate, answer questions, resolve issues, and make decisions regarding the need for the implementation of coverage and modifications to clients’ coverages.
· Provide exceptional customer service for assigned accounts, including correspondence and communication with customers, producers and insurance carriers.
· Markets new and renewal business to appropriate carriers as needed or requested, including preparing complete marketing submissions.
· Maintains accurate and up-to-date data in agency management system according to agency workflows.
· Prepares summaries of insurance, schedules and proposals as needed for account review according to agency workflows.
· Verifies new and renewal policies for accuracy in rating, coverages and other relevant information. Inputs transactions to generate billing invoices. Ensures that policies are delivered and/or mailed to client in a timely manner.
· Develop strong relationships with clients and prospects.
· Perform prospect due diligence through effective communication and research.
· Be able to connect with prospects and clients via phone, in-person, and email.
· Comfortably solicit increases in coverage or rounding out accounts through sales to clients at every service contact.
· Identify and recommend appropriate coverages to clients and prospects and be able to educate clients and prospects on coverages, important exclusions and other documentation requirements.
· Actively seek referrals from existing clients, and outside personal contacts.
· Establish relationships with local centers of influence.
Qualifications:
· Maintain a current Property & Casualty license in the state of Texas.
· 2+ years of personal line account management work experience.
· Experience with Applied EPIC.
· Proven track record of proactively driving results against predefined goals and plans.
· Commitment to excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Motivated by getting to know people and helping them.
· Ability to manage a variety of complex tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) as well as other online services.
· Prior experience in an office environment, preferable with an independent insurance agency.
· Must be a team player and maintain a positive attitude.
Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
